Neymar da Silva Santos Junior, known as Neymar Jr., is a Brazilian professional football player who plays as a forward for PSG and the Brazil national team. The 30-year-old goalscorer and renowned playmaker is currently regarded as one of the best players in the world alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Karim Benzema, Erling Haaland, etc. 

Not only is he good at football, but his fashion style is also amazing. The 30-year-old superstar, dominant on the field and creative and fashion-forward off it, is rarely photographed without a smattering of diamonds, whether on his wrist, dangling from his neck, or sparkling off a silver chain.

Also, one of the world's highest-paid athletes in 2022 has amassed an astonishing collection of watches throughout his career.

As a watch enthusiast, I have curated a list of ten watches in his collection. Let's dive in!

Let's start with a watch that is in my top three favorite watches. It is the 41mm two-tone Rolex Submariner with a cerachrom bezel surrounding a royal blue dial. This beauty is nicknamed Rolex 'Bluesy' by the watch community.

In watchmaking, the Submariner Date, when launched in 1969, set the standard for divers’ watches and the rotatable bezel is a key functionality of the watch: with its 60-minute graduations allow a diver to accurately and safely monitor diving time and decompression stops.

Market price: ~$18,000.

Who doesn't like this Rolex GMT-Master II with a black and blue color combination on the bezel? This watch on a jubilee bracelet is nicknamed Batman by the watch community or, some also say, Batgirl.

This watch is equipped with a bidirectional rotatable bezel and a 24-hour graduated two-color Cerachrom insert in black and blue ceramic; it’s fitted on a five-link jubilee bracelet.

The next watch in his collection is the Rolex GMT-Master II 'Sprite' 126720VTNR which was released at 2022 Watches and Wonders in Geneva.

Featuring a cerachrom bezel insert that combines green and black, which was never done before, the new Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 126720VTNR is officially the first left-handed Rolex ever made with a crown position at 9 instead of 3 o’clock. The model has been nicknamed “Sprite” by the watch community.

With its new color scheme and eye-catching design, the Rolex Sprite breathes new life into one of the world's most famous watch brands.  

He also was seen wearing a nice Rolex GMT-Master II 126755SARU in rose gold, where the bezel and dial have been set with diamonds, rubies and sapphires. The very rare 40mm watch has a retail price of $185,000.

He has several Daytona watches in his collection. The first one I show you here is the Rolex Daytona 116505BK in Rose Gold featuring a black dial and rose gold sub-dials. The rose gold bezel features an engraved tachymetric scale.

The model was first introduced in year 1963, designed to meet the demands of racing drivers, so they could measure speeds up to 400 km per hour. It is nowadays one of Rolex most popular models. 

This watch is known as the first ever Daytona made in rose gold. 

Like John Mayer and Erling Haaland, Neymar Jr. also has one of my favorite watches: Rolex Daytona 'John Mayer Dial' 116508.

The yellow gold watch features an emerald-colored green dial on an oyster bracelet. It has yellow gold indexes and hour markers. The inscription 'Daytona' is likewise red and sits on the internal rings of the Chrono sub-dials as well as the hour markers.

Retail price: ~$43,000.

Released at Baselworld 2016, it has become one of the most sought-after Rolex models ever.

The next watch in Neymar Jr watch collection can also be found in LeBron James' and Erling Haaland's watch collection: Rolex Daytona 'Eye of the Tiger' 116588TBR.

The 40mm watch has a diamond-laced tiger-print dial, a gem-set yellow-gold bezel with 36 trapeze-cut diamonds, and diamond hour markers (outside of the 15, 30, 45, and 60-minute indicators).

Market price: ~$300,000.

His other rare dial watch inspired by an animal is the Rolex Datejust 116185BBR 'Zebra.'

The watch is fitted with a baguette and brilliant diamond-set bezel with a pave diamond-set dial with glossy black lacquer accents that mimic the hide of an exotic Zebra and features a rubber and sting-ray strap.

The PSG and Brazil national team football player also has another Rolex Daytona with a black dial. This one is the 116508-0004. 

The 40mm yellow gold Daytona features a bezel with an engraved tachymetric scale with three counters and pushers since the model was originally designed to be the perfect timing tool for endurance racing drivers. 

Market price: ~$60,000.

Arriving at the FIFA World Cup in Doha, the Brazilian footballer was seen wearing the beautiful Rolex Day-Date 'Rainbow' 128348RBR in yellow gold set with brilliant-cut diamonds and rainbow-colored sapphires.

The dial is set with brilliant-cut diamonds and features 12 rainbow-color sapphires as hour markers, inspired by the bezel of the iconic Daytona Rainbow.

Retail price; $105,500.

To be honest, I had never seen this watch before I started writing this blog post. The 39mm yellow gold Rolex Pearlmaster 86348SAJOR on his wrist has amazed me - It is so beautiful!

The bezel is set with 48 baguette cut sapphires in varying tones of orange and yellow to create the Fancy Orange design. The dial is a rich cognac with diamond set hour markers and a date window at 3 o'clock.
