Tom Brady, the renowned American quarterback who graced the National Football League for 23 seasons, took the world by surprise with his retirement announcement in February 2023.

Post-retirement, Brady has been seen sporting some exquisite timepieces, including the latest Rolex watches - the celebration dial and the puzzle dial. It boasts a black ceramic shell and has an engraving on its back celebrating the "TOP GUN - United States Navy Fighter Weapons School.

The matte black ceramic case is water resistant to 60 meters (not 50 meters because IWC just likes to be that way) with a nicely AR-coated sapphire case and metal accents in the form of the caseback and the material used for the pushers and crown (as well as the deployant buckle).

This unique design was inspired by the Mojave Desert, where the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake is located. It's quite striking to see such a bold watch rendered in a beige sand colour. Matching this hue across the ceramic case, textile strap, and grey/brown dial was no small feat for the brand.

The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN Edition “Lake Tahoe” combines a white ceramic case in a diameter of 44 millimetres with a black dial and black hands. The case back is made of titanium, while the pushers and crown are made of stainless steel, lending the timepiece a design that is as pure as it is contrasting.

Produced in a limited run of just 25, this watch was reserved for IWC's most esteemed clients. Originally priced at US$100,000 in 2015, its value has significantly appreciated. Although rarely available in the market, it's safe to say its current worth is at least double its initial price.

Another remarkable timepiece in Tom Brady  watch collection. It is the IWC Big Pilot IW500922 Piece Unique, a special piece gifted to him by Johann Rupert, the Chairman of Compagnie Financiere Richemont, IWC's parent company. This unique timepiece was a token of celebration, commemorating Brady's triumphant Super Bowl 51 win with the New England Patriots.

In his collection, Brady has a special TAG Heuer model named 'Tom Brady'. Limited to just 466 pieces, this Carrera CAR201R.FT6120 edition commemorates the yards he covered in Super Bowl LI against Atlanta as a Patriot.

Housed in a 43mm stainless steel frame, its blue dial prominently displays the number 12, styled after Brady’s jersey numeral. The case back is graced with Brady’s autograph. Along with a stainless steel band, it also comes with an original blue rubber strap that sports a pigskin texture, complemented by a stainless steel clasp.

Attending the 2023 Roland Garros final he was seen wearing a special Rolex Day-Date ‘Arabic’ 228206 in platinum with an olive green dial. The platinum is the most precious material used by Rolex and it is frequently paired with an ice-blue dial. 

Available exclusively to select dealers in the Middle East, the new Arabic Day-Date was unveiled in 2016 with an ice-blue dial, and in 2021 added to the collection the olive green dial version.

In August  2023, he was spotted wearing a rare Rolex Day-Date 'Arabic'  228396TBR in platinum with ice blue dial and set with baguette-cut diamonds. 

Introduced in 2016, this version with Hindu-Arabic numerals is only available to select dealers in the Middle East. The watch retails for $117,500 USD but sells for over $200,000 on the secondary market.

Crafted from white, rose, or yellow gold, these watches boast a unique jigsaw puzzle enamel face and two intriguing complications. Rather than displaying the day in the 12 o'clock window, it showcases "inspirational" keywords like 'Happy,' 'Eternity,' 'Gratitude,' 'Peace,' 'Faith,' 'Love,' and 'Hope.' 

Meanwhile, the conventional date window at 3 o'clock reveals 31 distinct emojis daily. The dial's hour markings consist of 10 baguette-cut sapphires in six matching shades

 After we saw @tombrady with the new Day-Date 'Puzzle', he's now showing off another fresh Rolex! This time, it's the 41mm cool Oyster Perpetual "Celebration".

This eye-catching new Rolex models 2023 Oyster Perpetual watch immediately captures attention with its striking turquoise dial, adding a splash of color and personality to the renowned collection.

The true standout feature, however, is the array of multi-colored bubbles in those five vivid colors (candy pink, turquoise blue, yellow, coral red, and green)  playfully scattered across the dial, creating a sense of depth and movement. These bubbles add a unique aesthetic touch and serve as hour markers, giving the watch a fresh and contemporary look.

Entirely dressed in blue, the new 41mm Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar 26579CS, which was released in September 2022, presents a case and bracelet fully crafted in blue ceramic for the first time. The Blue dial features “Grande Tapisserie” pattern with blue counters, white gold applied hour-markers and Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating with the blue inner bezel.

Early September 2023, he was spotted wearing a rare $1,250,000 Rolex Daytona 6241 ‘Paul Newman’ at Patriots vs Eagles game. 

This timepiece has been named ‘John Player Special’ Daytona for the colors that reminds the JPS Lotus F1 car, gold and black. Manufactured between 1966 and 1969, the reference 6241 had a total production of approximately 3,000 units, with just under 400 of them in gold.
