Brad Pitt Watch Collection Varies From Breitling to Patek Philippe

William Bradley Pitt, known as Brad Pitt, is an American actor born in December 1963 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The charming movie actor is well-known for his many different movie parts. He has won multiple honors and is a well-known American actor and film producer. He also in the list of the highest-paid celebrities along with Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Smith, Chris Hemsworth, etc.

He is well-known for marrying the well-known actresses Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie.

Brad Pitt is an ambassador for Breitling, along with Charlize Theron and Adam Driver. But, it doesn't mean that only Breitling watches can be found in Brad Pitt watch collection.

The best friend of Leonardo DiCaprio (correct me if I'm wrong) is known to have a wide variety of watch styles and movie roles to choose from. His watch collection, which includes everything from vintage Rolex timepieces to more opulent Patek Philippe watches, is likely to amaze watch connoisseurs.

Brad Pitt in the picture that was seen in January 2023 wears the Vacheron Constantin Historique 222 in 18k yellow gold, a contemporary reissue of the historic model. This is one of my favorite watches that was released during the Watches and Wonders 2022.

A true icon of the 1970s, the 37 mm ‘Jumbo’ 222 features a monobloc tonneau-shaped case topped with a grooved bezel and an integrated bracelet. The case is decorated with a Maltese cross at 5 o'clock and has an open caseback, allowing the caliber to be admired in full view. 

Retail price: $69,000.

Market price: ~$95,000.

Hollywood actor Brad Pitt attended the men's singles final tennis match at Wimbledon 2023 between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic on the last day of the 2023 Wimbledon Championships.

During the event, he was wearing a rare and fine stainless steel Vacheron Constantin Jumbo 44018 with blue dial better known as the 222.

The 222 was launched in 1977 for the brand’s 222th anniversary and it stands apart from the Royal Oak and the Nautilus as it was not designed by Gerald Genta but by the young Jorg Hysek who gave the watch a slightly more cutting edge flair. Hysek was only 24 years old when the 222 launched – incidentally, Jean-Marc Vacheron was 24 years old when he first officially founded Vacheron Constantin on September 17th 1755.

In the movie 'Bullet Train' which was released last year in 2022, Brad Pitt was seen wearing this Breitling AVI Ref.765 1953 Re-Edition.

Released in 2021, the modern edition of a vintage Breitling from 1953 comes with a steel case and a black dial. Its all-black dial, protected by a highly dome-shaped crystal, features the same Arabic numerals as the original Co-Pilot from 1953 and tone-on-tone tiny seconds, 15-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters. The hand-applied Super-LumiNova hue was carefully chosen to recall the original luminous material and add retro charm to the timepiece.

The 41mm stainless steel case is exactly similar, and the bezel is held in place by three screws that are precisely the same places as those on the 1953 watch.

Retail price is $8,600.

The watch on Pitt's wrist was made to celebrate the watch brand’s partnership with epic British motorcycle manufacturer Norton. It is the 42mm Breitling Premier B01 Chronograph ‘Norton’ edition in stainless steel. 

The Breitling Premier Norton Edition is a potent representation of a partnership between two iconic brands that share intriguingly similar timelines and powerful legacies. The watch expresses the style and performance expected from a maker of refined Swiss watches and a motorcycle brand renowned for its exclusive British engineering.

Retail price: $8,900.

Another Breitling in Brad Pitt Watch Collection is the stainless steel 42mm Breitling Premier B01 Chronograph.

Retail price: $8,800. 

One of the most significant watch designs ever was created by Cartier in 1917, 70 years after the company first began operations in 1847. The Renault FT-17 French tank served as inspiration for Louis Cartier's creation, the Cartier Tank. Admittedly, a military tank is quite an unusual place to get inspiration from for a dress watch. Still, Renault’s compact, strong, and systematic design was actually a remarkably logical origin of inspiration.

In 2006 Cartier launched a limited run of the Tank à Guichet. Officially a part of the CPCP collection, this 100-piece run was made using a pink gold case and is where our model comes from today

This Brad Pitt watch is especially eye-catching due to the fact that it has no dial and only a jumping hour, and it features a wandering minute indication. 

I couldn't find the retail or market price. But, it was sold for $50,000 in an auction in 2021.

Brad Pitt was also seen wearing an 18k yellow gold Rolex GMT Master II watch (ref. 116718). As Rusty Ryan in the follow-up film Ocean's Thirteen, Brad Pitt wore his GMT Master II watch, which is actually a part of his own collection.

This model, the ref. 116718, is the latest all yellow gold GMT-Master II we have seen from Rolex. Launched in 2005 with a special Rolex green dial, these first watches under the reference number were released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the GMT-Master.

The current market price (March 2023) is around ~$45,000.

Another Rolex watch we can find in Brad Pitt watch collection is the Rolex Daytona 'Zenith' 16520 with a white dial. 

The Rolex Zenith takes its nickname since it’s powered by the Zenith El Primero caliber.

Market price is around $35,000.

The Oscar winner also has the classic stainless steel Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711. The 40mm watch with a graduated blue dial really looks great on his wrist. 

The current market price (March 2023) is around $150,000.

Brad Pitt has been seen rocking a vintage Patek Philippe Ellipse in his movie By the Sea, a 70’s inspired film where his Patek fit perfectly for the era. This specific model has a Sunburst blue "Sigma" dial, a white gold integrated bracelet, and an 18k white gold case.  

The reference 3748 "Ellipse" model was first offered by Patel Philippe in 1976 and was manufactured until 1994. The first "Ellipse" reference, made in 1967, was replaced by the reference 3748. 

The controversial former US President, Donald Trump, also has a Patek Philippe Ellipse, but with another reference. His model is the yellow gold one.

Brad Pitt's Patek Philippe Complications Annual Calendar 5205R is one of his more distinctive timepieces. The annual calendar and moon phase display are both present on this wristwatch. The black alligator bracelet and the rose gold case make for a sophisticated and striking contrast.
