Watches of Premier League Managers 2023/2024

While we eagerly await the intense action on the field, let's take a moment to shift our focus to something equally exciting - the luxurious timepieces sported by some of the football players and their managers, both on and off the pitch. In this blog post, I will only explore the stunning watches of Premier League Managers 2023/2024 season. Just like last year, we can expect a display of exquisite timekeeping accessories that reflect the managers' unique personalities and styles.

This picture was taken during Jurrien Timber Arsenal's latest signing with Arsenal Manager Mikel Arteta and Arsenal Sporting Director Edu Gaspar at London Colney on 14 July 2023 in St Albans, England.

The head coach of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, was seen wearing his amazing watch, the limited edition Rolex GMT-Master II "Sea King" 116710LN.

The 40mm stainless steel watch features a black dial with a date window at 3 o'clock, a green second timezone hand, a 24-hour rotatable bezel with a black cerachrom insert in ceramic, and an oyster bracelet.

The watch was made to commemorate the decommissioning of the British Sea-King helicopter used by the British Military operations since 1969.

During the training season in July 2023, Jurgen Klopp likes to wear a simple pilot's watch from IWC. Recently, he was spotted wearing a special edition called "IWC Aquatimer Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month Edition '50 Years Aquatimer'." 

This watch is very unique and one of the most complicated versions of the IWC Aquatimer models. It's made from a special material called Ceratanium, which is a mix of titanium and ceramic. Only 50 of these watches were produced in 2017, and they quickly sold out. As the name suggests, this watch is packed with impressive features and functions.

During the press conference at Tottenham Hotspur Training Ground on 10 July 2023 in London, manager Ange Postecoglou was seen wearing an IWC Portugieser Automatic IW500710.

Similar to the Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest Managers, Rob Edwards was also seen wearing an Apple Watch during the pre-season friendly match between VfL Bochum and Luton Town at on 5 August 2023 in Bochum, Germany.

Similar to the Newcastle United Manager, Steve Cooper was also seen wearing an Apple Watch during the Pre-Season Friendly between Notts County and Nottingham Forest at Meadow Lane on 15 July 2023 in Nottingham, England.

Garmin Forerunner seems to be the only watch that Thomas Frank has in his collection. I have never seen him wearing any other watch than this one (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Greeting new signing Mason Mount to the team, Erik Ten Hag was spotted wearing the 41mm stainless steel Rolex Datejust 126300 with a mint green motif dial on an oyster bracelet.

On the occasion, he was seen wearing his Rolex Cellini 50509 in white gold.

Manager Marco Silva of Fulham FC was a picture of concentration in the second half during a Premier League Summer Series match between Brentford FC and Fulham FC. The game unfolded at Lincoln Financial Field on 23 July 2023 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

But it wasn't just the match that caught attention – Silva's wristwear did too. He was spotted wearing the 40mm Rolex Milgauss 116400, distinguished by its black dial and an eye-catching orange bolt lightning second hand. A timepiece that matched the electrifying game!

Wearing a Rolex Pepsi on an oyster bracelet, Crystal Palace Manager Roy Hodgson looked on prior to the pre-season friendly match between Crawley Town and Crystal Palace at Broadfield Stadium on 19 July in Crawley, England.

I couldn't find a picture of him wearing a watch during the pre-season. However, last year's pre-season, he was seen wearing a  white gold Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Moonphase 5396.

This watch showcases a silvery opaline dial adorned with gold-applied hour markers, and it's finished with a glossy black alligator strap. Striking a balance between timeless elegance and contemporary style, the model manages to appear both intricate and easily readable. Without being ostentatious, it looks incredibly appealing on the wrist.

I found pictures of him wearing a watch during the pre-season match or trainings. However, it seems to be a smartwatch. I remember, around 2016 I saw this picture of him wearing a Patek Philippe watch. So, I decided to put this blast from the past picture because the watch is so cool!

In the picture, the Everton coach wears the stainless steel Patek Philippe Nau8tilus TRravel Time 5990/1A-001 with a black dial.

Market price (Aug 2023): ~$173,000.

This picture was taken in 2018, so it is new. In the picture, he was seen wearing an IWC Pilot’s Watch Timezoner Chronograph 3950. Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Julen Lopetegui during the pre-season friendly match between Celtic and Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on 29 July 2023, was seen wearing a Hublot Big Bang Referee 2018 FIFA Limited edition.

This old picture of Unai Emery from 2015 shows him wearing a 46mm CT Scuderia Red Stainless Steel CS10106 because at that time he signed a contract with the brand.

Made from stainless steel, the round case surrounds a bright red dial coupled with white hour, minute, and seconds indicators, in addition to oversized Arabic numerals for the minutes. The number 60 is featured on a carbon fiber plate with a CT logo. The wide hands are coupled with minute and hour chronographs, giving the watch a shine.
