Audemars Piguet is making fancy character watches. After their 2021 Black Panther watch, which big stars like LeBron James and The Weeknd wore, they've now released a Spider-Man watch in June 2023.

This new Spider-Man watch is another team-up with the Swiss watch brand and Marvel. The watch shows a detailed 3D Spider-Man made of painted white gold. It's part of a 42mm fancy watch.

They're only making 250 of these Spider-Man watches, just like they did for Black Panther. It costs about $215,000.

Making the Spider-Man figure on each watch took at least 50 hours. They first carved him out of white gold, then engraved and painted him by hand. So, every watch is a bit different. The Spider-Man looks like he's wearing his red and blue suit.

The watch itself is light and strong because it's made of titanium. The round part (bezel) and the button (crown) are black and ceramic. The inside of the watch (movement) is a new design called Calibre 2974. 

The watch has gold hour marks and numbers, and its hands glow blue in the dark. The watch also comes with two straps: one is black and grey, and the other is Spider-Man's black and red. It's waterproof up to 50 meters and is made of 197 pieces.

The CEO of Audemars Piguet, François-Henry Bennahmias, said they made this watch to celebrate Spider-Man, a very famous Marvel hero. They also support programs that help young people make a difference in the world.
