Gordon Ramsay is famous for his amazing skills in the kitchen and his fiery TV personality. But there's another side to him that's just as cool – he loves collecting watches! Ramsay's collection is as varied as his recipes. He doesn't stick to just one brand or style; instead, he mixes it up with everything from super-fancy watches to ones from smaller, less-known companies.

Let's start with the picture that was taken during the 2022 Italian Grand Prix in Monza. Gordon Ramsay was seen flexing IWC Pilot’s Watch Mark XVIII Edition ‘Tribute to Mark XI’ IW327007 on a green olive strap.

The Swiss watchmaker introduced the $4,900 timepiece as a Re-issue version of its classic Mark XI model from 1948, also known as one of the building stones of its iconic pilot watch concept.

The 40 mm stainless steel watch’s case is fully matt finished, and it is water resistant to 60 m which is, of course, slightly weaker by today’s standards.

Except for a few modifications, the dial resembles the original edition. At first glance, the new model’s dial displays the brand’s current emblem, whereas the original 1948 version displays the vintage logo. Many Re-Issue and Heritage models from different brands stay loyal to the timepieces they have been inspired by in terms of aesthetics, and the era-matching logo is one of those details.

This is one of my favorite watches- the Rolex Submariner 116619LB, featuring a blue dial and blue Cerachrom bezel. Launched in 2008 to celebrate Rolex's 100th anniversary, this model was the first Submariner crafted in 18k white gold. It earned the nickname 'Smurf' due to its brighter blue hue compared to other models, reminiscent of the cartoon "The Smurfs." Even the singer John Mayer has added this piece to his collection.

Current market price (Nov 2023): ~$42,000.

Gordon Ramsay watch collection also includes more modern Rolexes, like the Everose Rolex Yacht-Master 116655, featuring a rubber strap. This piece strikes a perfect balance between sportiness and elegance, being fairly understated for a gold watch, thanks to its rubber band and black bezel.

The Chrono Avenger M1 E73360, produced by Breitling from 2002 to 2008, is presented here in excellent pre-owned condition. The photos displayed are of the actual watch being sold. It operates on Breitling's Calibre 73 SuperQuartz precision movement, which includes 22 jewels. The date display is conveniently located at the 4:30 position.

Market price: ~$3,000.

Gordon Ramsay watch collection also boasts the steel Omega Seamaster Professional Chronometer 300m/1000ft Ref. 25318000, an older variant of the Seamaster. 

This model shares a cinematic connection as the Omega Seamaster Professional was famously worn by Pierce Brosnan in all his James Bond films. Brosnan sported the stainless steel full-size version with a blue face and blue bezel on a stainless steel bracelet. Specifically, he wore the models 2531.80.00 Chronometer with automatic movement and the 2541.80.00 with Quartz movement, the latter in "GoldenEye" (1995).

In later Bond movies like "Tomorrow Never Dies" (1997), "The World Is Not Enough" (1999), and "Die Another Day" (2002), Bond is seen wearing the Omega Seamaster Professional 2531.80.00 Chronometer. This connection adds a layer of cinematic allure to Ramsay's choice of this particular Omega model.

On a trip to Iceland, renowned chef Gordon Ramsay visited the JS Watch Company in Reykjavik and picked a special watch - the JS Blue Sif NART 1948. This watch boasts a classic design with a stainless steel case and a tanned calf strap. 

It's not just a timepiece; it's a tribute to the Icelandic Coast Guard, known for its service in the North Atlantic for over 60 years. The "NART" stands for North Atlantic Rescue Timer, marking the watch's reliability and robust nature.

The JS Watch Company, a family-run business in Iceland since 2005, specializes in handcrafted luxury watches using fine Swiss and German materials. Their dedication to quality craftsmanship attracted Ramsay to their workshop. 

The JS Blue Sif NART 1948, running on a Swiss Automatic movement, is priced at $3,034 and represents not just a watch but a piece of Icelandic heritage. Perfect for the adventurous spirit or a watch enthusiast, it’s a stylish, durable choice for any occasion.

In the beginning of 2024, celebrating the opening of his new restaurant chain in Miami, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay  was seen wearing the $120,000 Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon 26396NB.  

This exquisite timepiece features a stylish two-tone case design, blending black ceramic with 18-carat white gold. A standout in the collection, it features a black onyx dial enhanced with delicate pink gold accents, adding a touch of elegance.
