Gerard Piqué is a former Spanish professional footballer who played as a center-back. He is widely considered one of the best defenders of his era and was an integral member of the Spanish national team's golden generation, a nucleus of players central to Spain winning the World Cup in 2010 and the UEFA European championship in 2012.

Recently, Gerard Pique has broken the internet. The former Spanish football player is no longer with the Colombian singer Shakira. The relatively quiet former couple were an item for 12 years, during which time they welcomed two sons.

After their separation, there have been too many dramas on the internet. one of them is that Pique wore a $25 vintage Casio to respond to a song by Shakira about him. This inspired me to figure out whether Pique has luxury watches just like other football players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., Luka Modric

Without any delay, let's find them out! 

Let us start with the timepiece that Pique wears around his breakup situation with Shakira in January 2023. 

In a Podcast with his friends, he was intentionally wearing and showcasing his new 36mm stainless steel with ion plating Casio “Iconic” ref A158WA-1DF featuring a square dial with hundredths of a second stopwatch, LED light, stainless steel strap and a battery with an approximate duration of 7 years. 

Earlier, Shakira released a new song called ‘Shakira Bzrp Music Sessions 53’, which mocks Piqué with the lyrics “I was out of your league, which is why you’re with someone just like you” and “You swapped a Ferrari for a [Renault] Twingo/You swapped a Rolex for a Casio”.

So, Pique wore the $25 vintage Casio as a respond to Shakira’s viral break-up song about him.

The Polish football player Robert Lewandowski also owns a similar watch, but in yellow gold and it is a bit more expensive, but still below $100.

He also has been spotted wearing a stainless steel Girard Perregaux Laureato Skeleton 81015-11-001-11A.

Move on to another brand, Patek Philippe. The first one is the Nautilus 5726A with annual calendar and moonphase. It has a black dial with gold-applied hour markers with a luminescent coating. This elegant sports watch is water resistant to 120m.

In this picture, Pique wears a timepiece that also can be found in the watch collection of the President of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos Jr. It is a Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph 5980R in 18k rose gold.  It features a black-brown dial with gold-applied hour markers and a luminescent coating. 

This timepiece has been introduced in 2013; it’s fitted with a brown alligator bracelet.

When arriving In Saudi Arabia in January 2022, the former Spanish football player for Barcelona, Gerard Pique, who has been a trending topic since the beginning of 2023 due to his break up with Shakira, was spotted wearing the rose gold Rolex Daytona Rainbow.

Considering one of the most colorful, funnest, and playful modern watches, the Rolex Daytona Rainbow comes in three different models: rose gold (116595RBOW), yellow gold (116598RBOW), and white gold (116599RBOW). The yellow gold and white gold Daytonas were released in 2012 before the rose gold reference in 2018.

His next Daytona is the rose gold Daytona 116505BR with big numeral hour markers. This timepiece with big numbers reminds me of Kanye West's Daytona.

Not Only Rolex and Patek Philippe watches, he also has a watch from Audemars Piguet. So far, I could only find one timepiece from the brand. It is a limited edition Royal Oak Offshore 'Survivor' Chronograph 26165IO.
