Michael Rubin White Party was on everyone’s lips. Rubin is one of the few people on the planet who can gather Hollywood’s wealthiest and most well-known individuals in one location at one time. This year was no exception. Celebrating the 4th of July, the American businessman organised his annual White Party in the Hamptons, where many celebrities shared a good time. As usual, I’m interested in which watches they wore on their wrists during the event. 

It is always satisfying for me to see more than one celebrity wearing a watch in one picture, and this picture is an example. Here we see Colombian singer J. Balvin hanging out with Jay Z at Michael Rubin Party, and they wear luxury watches.

Balvin was spotted wearing the extremely rare Richard Mille 56-01 in brown sapphire. His watch features a transparent case, making it possible to see the movement assembled from crystal sapphire. It is an exceptional 50mm case timepiece that is only available on the Asian market. The watch is limited to only five pieces and retails for $2,500,000.

While on Jay Z’s wrist, we see one of my favourite Patek Philippe watches: The rose gold Patek Philippe Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph 5990/1R with a blue sunburst dial. 

This model combines three highly sought-after complications: a self-winding flyback chronograph, an easy-to-use Travel Time function (dual time-zone), and a date display coupled with local time. It sells on the grey market for around $400,000 (July 2022).

Kris Jenner’s boyfriend, Corey Gamble, also attended the party. We know what to expect here regarding his watch because we have seen lately which watch is on his wrist. So yeah, it is not a surprise to see the hype watch on the planet Patek Philippe Nautilus Tiffany on his wrist at Rubin’s White Party.

At the party, we also see that James Harden Jr., an American professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association, also attended the event. He is also known as an avid watch collector.

When I knew he was there, I expected him to wear his Patek Tiffany. In fact, he wore the white gold Patek Philippe Aquanaut Chronograph 5968G with a khaki green dial and a matching khaki green composite strap.

Now, the watch on Lil Baby’s wrist looks really dope! It is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Self-winding Chronograph. 

This Japan-dedicated 41mm Chronograph features an 18-ct white gold case and bracelet decorated with frosted gold as well as a grey ‘Grande Tapisserie’ dial contrasted by black counters.

American football wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., known as OBJ, was seen wearing a beautiful rose gold Patek Philippe Nautilus with a bezel set with 32 baguette-cut rubies. Moreover, it also features 12 baguette-cut rubies serving as hour markers to read the time easily with the central silver hand. A date window in black and white is visible at 3 o’clock. 

Its market price (July 2022): ~$350,000. 

The professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the NBA Jay Tatum was seen wearing one of my favourite Richard Mille watches (If you have read my blog about Karim Benzema’s watch collection, you might have known that this). 

It is the RM055 ‘Bubba Watson’. The RM 055 is a highly technical creation that is innovative, sporty, and hand-finished in the finest watchmaking tradition. It features an extreme skeleton movement due to the titanium case and has a ceramic ATZ front bezel. Its mechanical movement, crafted in grade 5 titanium, displays extreme skeletonisation.

Another celebrity who was seen wearing the beautiful RM055 Bubba Watson at Michael Rubin White Party was the rapper Mario Sentell Giden Mims, known as Yo Gotti. The white timepiece really fits to the theme.

Another rapper spotted with an interesting watch at Michael Rubin White Party is the American rapper Meek Mill. The Royal Oak Offshore Self-winding Chronograph in blue camo was spotted on his wrist. The stainless steel watch features a marine blue ceramic bezel, crown, push-pieces, a matching ‘Mega Tapisserie’ dial, and a camouflage rubber strap. This model is a limited edition of 400 pieces only. Its retail price is $32,300.

At first glance, I thought he was Kevin Hart. In my eyes, they look quite similar. Moreover, we know that Kevin is Royal Oak’s number one fan. 

Next is Anthony Leon “P. J.” Tucker Jr., that is well-known as an American professional basketball player for the Philadelphia of the NBA. He was seen wearing the Richard Mille RM11-01 Flyback Chronograph ‘Roberto Mancini’.

This timepiece was designed especially for the former Italian footballer Roberto Mancini. It features an 18ct rose gold case with a green rubber strap. Its dial is transparent with silver-tone hands and Arabic numeral hour markers. Let me tell you a secret: I still prefer the RM55 Bubba Watson.

American rapper, who is also very famous for his watch collection, Travis Scott, came to the party with an elegant Patek Philippe watch. It was not a Nautilus nor an Aquanaut, but it was a rose gold Patek Philippe Celestial Grand Complications Celestials. 

The watch features a super interesting celestial dial with black sapphire crystal disks for sky background and moon phases, and a transparent sapphire crystal disk for sky chart and Milky Way. The ref 6102 has another version, that is, the 6102P in Platinum. Personally, I like the rose gold version.
